Registration

This may sound very formal, especially to a first time visitor to this site. It is simply a necessary step that has to be carried out to enable us to open a conversation with you. We have to protect both yourself and the existing registered parish contacts from the unwelcome attention of the bad boys on the internet.

Registration is based on your email address. If we already hold this on our paper files, you will then be presented with a form that shows you some the information that we currently have. You will able to update this once registration is completed. Initial registration requires the following information from you;-

  • email address, so that we can email you with the log in information
  • First Name, so that we can personalise our email
  • Last Name, so that we can distinguish you from others

There are some other pieces of information that will help us going forward, but they are not essential at this stage.

The first thing we have to do is check whether we already hold your email address on file. If we do, the Registration form will be populated with such information as we hold. Please make sure that your address is updated with your EirCode, as an Post may know where you live but we do not! It is also essential that your Data Protection permissions are reviewed and corrected. There some additional choices that have to be made now as we move from paper files and publications to use of social media and the internet.

Register/Login

Once you have registered, you will get a confirmation email. The admin also gets one and can edit or delete the entry. After you have clicked the confirmation email, the admin gets another email and can then create a user account, edit or delete the entry. This may take a day or two. So, please be patient.

Thank you for your patience with the form filling.
